Secure email
The Systemec SMTP AVAS Cloud Scan & Forward provides clean e-mail at the workplace.
Systemec filters viruses, spam and other unwanted messages before they reach a user's mailbox. This filter ensures that more than 99.5% of spam is stopped.
This e-mail gateway is active by default for customers using the Systemec e-mail and Systemec Virtual Office.
This service is intended for customers with their own mail server, where the filtering of spam and viruses is done centrally by Systemec.
Settings
The filters can be customized, which can be managed independently via a web portal. It is also possible to offer each user his own quarantine mailbox, where mail that is dubious, is placed in. The following settings can be adjusted per domain:
- Set filters: weight for tag, quarantine and delete immediately;
- Possibility to set quarantine box per user;
- In case of dubious mail, add a "tag" to the subject;
- In case of dubious mail, these mails can be forwarded to 1 central address;
- Own blacklist senders;
- Own whitelist senders.
Reporting
The statistics can be consulted via the secure web interface:
- Total number of scanned messages;
- Number of blocked spam messages;
- Number of virus messages blocked;
- Number of messages placed in a quarantine box;
- Number of messages that have a feature.
Also various email reports can be compiled, such as the top email recipients.
Furthermore, the domain manager also has the possibility to view the log files of all received mail that clearly specify the action per email.
