Systemec Virtual Office
Remote working is easy with Systemec Virtual Office. The Virtual Office is a Remote Desktop Service (RDS) which simulates a Windows environment at the local workstation, while the applications and other software are hosted on a server within the Systemec datacenters.
The Windows Virtual Environment can be accessed via a client to be installed on the local computer or workstation. The client is available for Windows (built-in) and macOS.
By using Systemec Virtual Office, you as an organization have secure worldwide access to all your applications and documents.
You can choose which applications you want and users can easily log in remotely to their own virtual environment.
Software and applications
The Virtual Office environment is configured for each organization. Systemec offers the Virtual Office including all necessary Microsoft licenses, such as Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Exchange, Visio, Project and SQL.
Software from other parties is also offered within the Virtual Office such as Exact, Accountview, Mamut Enterprise etc. You are free to deliver your applications, we make sure they are offered in your environment.
Security
The security of the Virtual Office is excellent and is, among other things, equipped with redundant firewalls.
Each client has its own virtual servers within a vSphere Enterprise cluster, on which the office environment can be completely customized.
Access to the environment is further secured with two-factor authentication: each user logs in with a unique token, in addition to the username and password.
The data is stored redundantly on a SAN, where all files are backed up 6 times a day. The data is also mirrored once a day to a second location.
In addition to these standard backups, it is also possible to save a backup for a longer period of time. This longer storage period can be customized to suit your industry guidelines.
Costs
The monthly subscription fee is calculated on the basis of actual use. For example, if you have hired extra staff for 1 month, you will only pay for the extra use for that month.
The subscription costs are determined on the basis of the number of users, the software used and the disk space used.
Workplace management
Workplace management is working locally by means of a managed workplace by Systemec. A managed workstation by Systemec means Sophos Endpoint security and management.
Systemec can provide on-call support and takes care of the management, for example by providing update installations.
Depending on the support requirements, support can be provided during office hours or 24/7.
