webhosting & domains
Domains are internet addresses, often combined with web hosting.
Up to 6 times a day backup
Systemec webhosting
With webhosting, the website is hosted on a server, where you can choose between a shared server (shared hosting) or your own server.
Shared hosting is the most common way of hosting a website. Based on the chosen package, a part of the server is reserved for your website.
Systemec offers high quality webhosting for the business market, where customization is possible. Examples of customization are adjusting the PHP value or the possibility to setup a custom security level, such as using a Web Application Firewall (WAF).
The website, or VPS, is hosted on a recent Microsoft Windows or Debian Linux virtual server, within a vSphere Enterprise platform.
High availability and loading speed, redundant firewall security, up to 6x daily backup, access to extensive web statistics and a Plesk management portal is standard with each package.
Domains
Through a domain name your website can be visited. A domain name is the name on the internet, for example systemec.nl or systemec.de. The domain is linked to the webhosting server, through which the website appears.
Other applications for domains are creating your own mail addresses or certificates.
Systemec sets DNSSEC by default, as far as the top-level domain supports it. You can manage the DNS settings yourself via a web portal.
Plesk hosting control panel
The Plesk management portal supports the installation and management of CMS systems, such as Wordpress and Joomla.
By using Plesk, you have the possibility to easily set up a database, install CMS applications, access all statistics, take snapshots, report updates or security risks within the hosted website data.
